In a strategic move aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating development across Jigawa State, Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has approved the appointment of three additional Special Advisers. The announcement was made through an official statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim.
According to the SSG, the appointments were carefully selected based on merit, competence, and proven integrity—attributes the administration considers vital to driving its reform agenda. He emphasized that the new advisers embody the professionalism and dedication required to support the governor’s vision of a more efficient and people-centered government.
The newly appointed Special Advisers include:
Kabiru A. Sugungun
Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters
Ibrahim Ahmed Kwaimawa
Special Adviser on Industrial Relations
Ado Sani Birnin Kudu
Special Adviser on Civil Service Matters
Malam Bala Ibrahim congratulated the appointees, expressing strong confidence in their ability to positively impact policy formulation and implementation. He noted that their inclusion in the administration’s inner circle reflects a renewed commitment to excellence in public service.

The appointments take immediate effect.
