42-Yr-Old Man Shot Dead Inside Wife’s Shop In Osun
Dele Agboola, 42-year-old Man, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Ada, Osun State.
Agboola was allegedly shot dead Thursday around 8:40 pm, by three men disguised as customers who wanted to purchase medicine at the shop of late Agboola’s wife located in Pako Area in Osun State.
Speaking with a resident of Pako Area, Ada, who pleaded anonymous, He said the assailants were believed to be three in number and arrived when the deceased had even left the shop and went inside his residence.
But a few minutes after he retired inside, Dele (Agboola) came out into the shop again to pick up his mobile phone charger and was about to leave the shop again for his location behind the shop when three men approached him and asked if he was Dele Agboola, and he told them he was the person bearing the name.
Immediately he confirmed his identity, the men shot him. Those that attacked him were three in number. They fled the area and people ran in different directions to avoid being attacked. The incident happened around 8:40pm Thursday at Pako Area.
Relations of the deceased prevented security operatives from taking away his remains for autopsy and was buried Friday around 8:30 am according to Islamic rite.
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Kehinde Adeleke, confirmed the incident.
