Breaking : Heavy security as NLC commences protest over petrol subsidy removal in Osun
NLC protests already began
There is heavy security on ground at the Mandela freedom park in as members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) commences nationwide protests over the removal of petrol subsidy.
Recall the organised labour said the palliatives rolled out by the President in his nationwide broadcast on Monday night, was very insignificant to cushion the effect of the suffering in the country.
This is as the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero was conspicuously absent at the meeting.
Members of NLC, Osogbo branch, already gathered at different locations in old garage, okefia and Mandela freedom park to begin the protest.
Meanwhile, security operatives have been deployed to various locations in the state to make sure the protest is peaceful.
