Gay British-Nigerian pastor, Jide Macaulay reacts to arrest of suspects at same-sex wedding in Delta

A Nigerian based in the UK, British-Nigerian pastor, who is a Gay pastor, Jide Macaulay, has openly registered his disapproval over the arrest of some individuals at a same-sex wedding ceremony in Delta state.

Recall that the Delta State Police Command paraded over 100 suspected homosexuals arrested during a midnight wedding ceremony of a gay couple held in a hotel in Warri.

Jide Macaulay made his intention known on his Instagram page, the Chaplain at St. Peter’s House, the chaplaincy of Manchester’s Universities, said that the LGBTQ community is not a threat to the nation.

He expressed his solidarity and urged the day in this challenging time, I express my solidarity with LGBTQ+ Nigerians, both within the country and beyond its borders.
