Irekandu speaks on Senator Adeleke’s transition committee
... also congratulates Obokun appointees
The lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency, Adewumi Adeyemi Irekandu has commended the Governor-elect of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke for setting up a worthy transition committee with clear demands.
This was made known in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.
The lawmaker while praising the governor-elect stated that he has no doubts about the capacity of persons that made the transition list because they are people who have proven their intelligence in several capacities.
He further stressed that the demands of the Governor-elect in his speech further affirmed that he is truly well-prepared and ready to turn the state around for the entire populace.
While appealing to both natives and residents of the state to support the Governor-elect as he prepares to provide outstanding governance for the people, Irekandu assured the citizens that Senator Adeleke being a compassionate person would never fail the people in discharging his duties.
The people’s representative also congratulated the successful appointees from his state constituency, Diran Odeyemi, Mayowa Adejoorin, and Eniola Omotosho for being selected to be among members of the transition committee.
Irekandu described them as true servants of the people who are always driven by a passion to serve the people holistically.
While wishing them well in their new assignments, he described the appointment as a worthy one, stressing that they will surely make positive contributions to advancing the good cause of Senator Ademola Adeleke.
