Super Eagles getting set for 2026 World Cup qualifier
Nigeria’s Super Eagles camp comes alive with 23 players ahead of the team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Six players reported at the team’s Four Points Hotel base on Monday.
They have now been joined by 17 other players to the excitement of head coach, Jose Peseiro.
Bendel Insurance goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie, a late replacement for the injured Maduka Okoye is the only player yet to arrive in camp.
The Super Eagles will have their first training session at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo later tonight.
The session will be behind closed doors.
Nigeria is scheduled to face Lesotho on Thursday November 16, 2023, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
