Emefiele Appears in Court to Request Bail

Embattled former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, is currently in court to seek variation of his bail conditions.

The former CBN governor is standing trial on six counts bordering on procurement fraud to the tune of N1.2bn.

He is asking the court to review some terms of his bail conditions.

Justice Hamza Muazu of the FCT High Court is currently listening to argument on the matter.
