Gunmen kill motorcyclist in Owerri
Unidentified gunmen, Tuesday, shot and killed a commercial motorcyclist in Owerri, Imo State capital.
The incident happened at Ogbaku junction, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state.
An eyewitness who craved anonymity, told our correspondent that the gunmen stormed the area in a Sienna vehicle.
According to him, the gunmen upon arrival, beckoned on the motorcyclist to come and ordered him to move into the vehicle.
Insisting to be told what his offence was, the eye witness said the gunmen shot the bike rider twice and zoomed off.
“They came here in a Sienna vehicle and called on the okada man to come. When the man came, they told him to move into the vehicle.
“The okada man asked them what he did, and they shot him two times and left”, he stated.
