Queen Elizabeth’s coffin leaves Buckingham Palace

The coffin of late Queen Elizabeth II has left Buckingham Palace for the last time.

Her coffin, on Wednesday, began its journey to Westminster Palace, where she would lie in state.

The Queen’s coffin was borne on a horse-drawn gun carriage out of the front gates of her London residence on Wednesday afternoon around 2.22pm and was draped in the royal standard and topped with the Imperial State Crown.
