Kunle Buraimoh Foundation Offers Free Exercise Books to Osogbo Public School Students
The Kunle Buraimoh Foundation extended a helping hand to children attending public schools in Osogbo by distributing free exercise books.
This initiative, which took place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, aimed to alleviate the burden on parents and ensure that students have the essential supplies needed for their studies.
During the event, representatives from the Kunle Buraimoh Foundation visited Nawarudeen Grammar School in Oke Baale, Salvation Army Primary School in Isale Aro, and Adenle Grammar School in Ayetoro, where they distributed five exercise books to each student.
This gesture came at a crucial time, as many families are feeling the impact of rising prices on school supplies, which have become increasingly unaffordable for some. For many parents, this act of generosity is a welcome relief, providing much-needed assistance amid economic challenges.
The Kunle Buraimoh Foundation’s initiative was met with gratitude and enthusiasm from students, parents, and teachers alike. At each school, children received their exercise books with excitement, recognizing the support from the Foundation as a boost to their educational pursuits.
Speaking on behalf of the Foundation, a representative expressed the organization’s dedication to supporting the educational needs of children in Osun State, stated that, “Education is a powerful tool for change, and it is our belief that by providing these materials, we are empowering the future leaders of our communities.
“We hope that this will motivate the students to pursue their studies with renewed vigor and that it will ease the financial burden on their families.”
The Foundation thereafter encourages other organizations and individuals within the community to join in similar efforts, emphasizing that collective action can help ensure that all children have the tools they need to succeed.
School administrators and teachers were also appreciative of the Kunle Buraimoh Foundation’s efforts, noting the positive impact that such contributions have on students’ motivation and school engagement.
