OOMPA visits Olowu of Owu Kuta
Members of the Osun Online Media Practitioners Association (OOMPA) on Sunday, paid a courtsey visit to the Olowu of Owu Kuta, HRM Oba Dr Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude, Tegbosun III at his palace to show appreciation for his support towards the association.
While receiving the members of the association, Oba Makama pledged to support the current administration under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke with the equal mind and strength that he used to support the previous government in the interest of the state.
He charged Governor Adeleke to carefully appoint those who are ready to serve the state with their strength and capacity for the human development.
The Monarch called the people of Osun State both home and abroad to give adequate support to the government of the day for all round development in the state.
According to Olowu of Kuta, “As a traditional ruler, I will support the current administration under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke with the equal mind and strength that I used to support the previous government in the interest of the state.
“Every reasonable monarch that wants the dividend of Democracy for his subjects must be pro-establishment.” he said.
Oba Makama also pledged his utmost support in any area of importance to the association
He said he always reckon with the objectivity, promptness and professionalism of the association in discharging its duties.
In his address, the Chairman of the Association, Mr Jare Tiamiyu said the visit was to show appreciation to the Monarch for his moral guide and support in the past years towards the association.
Mr Tiamiyu further said that the association found it noteworthy to congratulate him on his promotion to the Deputy Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas and the anniversary of Owu day, held at the Palace on Saturday.
