Abuja Explosion: NBSA Urges Urgent Blood Donations
The National Blood Service Agency (NBSA) has issued an urgent appeal to Nigerians, especially residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to donate blood for victims of the tragic vehicle explosion on the Keffi-Kugbo road in Abuja.
In a statement released Wednesday night, the agency emphasized that the incident had resulted in multiple casualties, many of whom required immediate blood transfusions.
Hospitals and emergency response teams are working tirelessly to save lives, but an adequate blood supply is critical to their efforts.
“We urge all eligible donors to visit designated blood donation centres and hospitals across the FCT to make voluntary blood donations. Your generosity could mean the difference between life and death for those in critical condition,” the statement read.
