Access Holdings Seeks CBN Approval for Agbede as Successor to Wigwe

The Board of Directors of Access Holdings Plc says it is awaiting Central Bank of Nigeria’s approval of Mrs. Bolaji Agbede as its acting group chief executive officer.

Agbede was named on Monday night to fill the vacuum created by the death of Herbert Wigwe in a chopper crash on Friday.

She was until then Access Holdings’ most senior founding Executive Director in charge of Business Support.

Agbede has nearly three decades of professional experience cutting across banking and business consultancy services. She commenced her professional career in 1992 with Guaranty Trust Bank, a member of GTCO.

Agbede served there in various capacities within the commercial banking and operations units, rising to the position of manager in 2001.
