Basketmouth to host Netflix Nigeria’s industry celebration event

Celebrated Nigerian entertainer and comedy honcho, Basket Mouth, is set to be the host of Netflix’s upcoming Gala Event titled “Lights, Camera…Naija.”
Leading streaming entertainment service, Netflix, has announced Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basket Mouth, as the host for the exclusive event taking place in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
The event aims to celebrate Nollywood’s teeming pool of talented creatives while spotlighting the exciting state and potential of the industry.
Arguably one of Nigeria’s foremost comedians, Basket Mouth’s professional career has spanned 25 years, and his flagship stand-up comedy special, “Basket Mouth Uncensored,” has graced the biggest stages both locally and globally.
As a multi-talented entertainer, Basket Mouth boasts several producing and acting credits, as well as an active music career. Known for his wit and spontaneity, he is set to make “Lights, Camera…Naija” a night to remember.
