BREAKING: Building With Over 800 Rooms Collapses In Lagos

A school-turned-residential building, with 800 Rooms, in the Ketu area of Lagos collapsed on Sunday.

The housing building known as Agboye Estate on Oduntan Street, Ketu, first caved in on Saturday afternoon following hours of rainfall that greeted most parts of Lagos.

The officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has already marked the affected buildings side for demolition.

During a visit to the affected building on Sunday evening by the officials of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) , dozens of residents were seen moving their belongings in different directions.

Presently, 800 tenant are displaced, as the building is marked by Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) and sealed.

The landlord of Agboye Estate has since gone into hiding following Sunday’s tragedy.
