Damagum Urges Agboola To Unite Aspirants For PDP’s Victory

The acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Damagum, has called on the party’s candidate in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, to rally other aspirants and secure victory in the upcoming November governorship election.

 

Addressing stakeholders of the party before the presentation of the Certificate of Return to the candidate at the party headquarters in Abuja, Damagum criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for its contentious primary, stating that the opposition party had successfully produced a candidate without dissent. He emphasized the importance of unity among party members to ensure success in the election.

 

He advised Agboola to continue efforts to bring all aspirants on board, recognizing that winning the state for the PDP would require significant effort.

 

In his acceptance speech, Agboola acknowledged the responsibility bestowed upon him and expressed his readiness to work diligently for the party’s victory.
