Drum-A-Thon: Oyo Born FUOYE Student Sets To Break GWR For Longest Marathon Drumming
Olaniyi Israel Adewale, a talented drummer, born and bred in Sakí town of Òyó State, Nigeria, is set to break Guinness World Record for longest marathon drumming by an individual.
According to report received by our correspondent, Olaniyi is an Undergraduate of Computer science, Federal university Oye-Ekiti, a course representative and 7th faculty of science public relations officer.
he said “In this ambitious pursuit, I would actively engaged in an attempt to break the Guinness World Records title for the ‘Longest Drumming Marathon by an Individual’ with the unique African Talking Drum(Gangan).
And I’m fully ready to break this record so as to enrich African tradition/culture and to help local talents across the world.
