Adeleke requests approval of OSHA budget for the fiscal year
Governor, Ademola Adeleke has requested the State House of Assembly to approve a sum of 30 billion naira as supplementary budget for the fiscal year.
Presiding over, the plenary, the speaker of the house state parliament, Hon Adewale Egbedun, according to governor Ademola Adeleke’s prayer to the lawmakers, the supplementary budget became imperative to augment the exiting138 billion naira budget size to 168 billion nairas for the fiscal year and thereby the presented supplementary budget now stands at 168 billion.
Also at the session, Osun State Geographic Information Service Bill 2023, Osun State Multi door court house Establishment Bill 2023, Osun New Town and Growth Area Development Authority Repeal Bill 2023 and Osun State High Court and customary Court of Appeal, registrars, Secretariat to the state judicial service commission, solicitor general of the ministry of justice, state magistrates and district customary court presidents retirement age bill all were sailed through the hurdle of first reading.

In the cause of the plenary, the speaker, Honourable Adewale Egbedun read before the house governor Ademola Adeleke seeking the approval of the members of the state parliament on a supplementary budget of 30 billion naira aimed at augmenting the existing sum of 138 billion naira for the fiscal year.
Honourable Adewale Egbedun in the letter said the supplementary budget became imperative with a view to enabling the government to deliver on its people’s oriented centred programmes and policies of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
He acknowledged Governor Ademola Adeleke administration’s which he said is running an open government and administering the resources of the state onaltaralter of due process.
Recall that before the expiration of former governor Gboyega Oyetola had by proxy presented a budget size of 138 billion naira before the house for the fiscal year.
