Gov Adeleke Reveals Plans To Create One Million jobs in Osun

On Wednesday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke reiterated that his administration aimed to create about one million direct and indirect jobs through the state government’s revitalized free trade zone initiative.

Adeleke said this while declaring open a four-day Osun State Industrial Investment Summit, held on the main campus of Osun State University, Osogbo.

The governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Mr Kola Adewusi, also said his administration was working towards Osun becoming one of the top 10 earners of Internally Generated Revenue in the country.

He called on investors, industrialists, and tourists, especially those in the diaspora to collaborate with the government to fast-track the pace of industrialisation in the state.

He said, “We want to accelerate the pace of industrialization because we are on a mission and that is why we have embarked on several initiatives across different sectors of the Osun economy.
