If I Was President, I Would Have Removed Fuel Subsidy In A Different Way – Buba Galadima

Remove feul subsidy in a different way

Buba Galadima, Elder Statesman and NNPP Chieftain, has specified that he would have acted differently in the removal of fuel subsidy if he was President.

He express that the President had made the right decision but noted that he should have made a proper consultation to unravel the dirt behind the Oil subsidy scam.

According to him, the individuals who are gaining the subsidy income should be brought to book.

He applauds president Tinubu for the decision by removing Oil subsidy, but would have used a different approach in removing fuel subsidy.

Speaking further, he said if I was an adviser to Mr. President, I could have inquired on how this subsidy kept accumulating and got us to this level where we are. I could have advised him to take measures such that the removal will not be painful. The removal will not have far-reaching effect on the social life of the people. We all know nobody is subsidizing the poor but we are subsidizing the elites.
