Irekandu ‘Back to School’ Educational Project Commences Qualifying Exams for the 2024 NECO Scholarship
The Irekandu ‘Back to School’ Educational Project has commenced the qualifying exams for the 2024 NECO Scholarship in all constituencies within Obokun Local Government.
As custom, exams are conducted in government secondary schools across Obokun Local Government Area to identify deserving students for the scholarship.
Addressing the students before the commencement of the exam, Honourable Adewumi Adeyemi, also known as Irekandu, emphasized that education is a crucial pathway to success and that every student should have access to it regardless of their financial circumstances.
He also added that some students could not proceed to higher institution due to the cost of the required SSCE fee, which hinders their personal growth and contributes to societal challenges.
He therefore affirms that he is fully committed to ensuring equal access to education, recognizing it as a key tool to alleviate poverty in our nation.
He also appreciated friends who support and contribute to the cause of the project, assuring the students that successful candidates will receive payment for the NECO fee in the coming weeks.
