#KogiGuber2023: Ododo Comes Tops With 446, 237 Ballots
Usman Ododo, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the keenly contested Kogi State gubernatorial election of November 11, 2023.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him the winner having emphatically garnered a total of 446,237 votes.
Recall, the commission stated that there will be another election in 59 polling unit on 18th November.
His closest rival in the election, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate polled 259,052 while the PDP candidate, Senator Dino Melaye scavenged a total of 46, 362 votes.
All effort to contact the inec chairman for Kogi, to shed more light on the declared winner ahead of the yet-to-be-conducted election scheduled for November 18, in 59 polling unit in the state was not successful.
