Kwankwaso in Port Harcourt for Project Commissioning
Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State and NNPP presidential candidate, is currently in Rivers State to inaugurate the rebuilt Mgbutanwo Internal roads in the Emohua local government area of Rivers State.
Early in the morning, Kwankwaso and his entourage arrived to Governor Nyesom Wike’s private residence on Ada George road in Rumupeirikom, Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers, where they were greeted by the governor.
Kwankwaso is the second presidential contender of a different political party invited to commission some of the governor’s completed projects.
The governor invited Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, to commission the recently built Ikoku flyover last week. At the project’s inauguration, the governor pledged logistical support for Obi’s presidential campaign in the State.
Wike’s invitation of presidential contenders from other political parties to commission his projects in Rivers did not sit well with the PDP leadership, but he has stated that he has the right to invite whoever governor chooses to commission his projects.
