Lagos Blue Train: Irekandu Advocates Continuity in other states, Commends Adeleke

Adewumi Adeyemi (Irekandu) a prominent member of the Osun State House of Assembly, called upon governors across Nigeria to embrace the concept of continuity in governance,  using the train service stations in Lagos and Osun State as shining examples.

Adeyemi who is representing Obokun State Constituency pointed to this significant infrastructure endeavour as a testament to the power of consistent vision and long-term planning in government.

Adeyemi’s plea came on the heels of the grand launch of the Lagos Blue Train, a monumental project that will undoubtedly transform the transportation landscape in the state.

He cited the Lagos Blue Train project, which was initiated by former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and has been diligently pursued by subsequent administrations, as a prime illustration of the benefits that come with sustained commitment to a common goal.

Adeyemi also used the road channelization projects in Osun State, spanning the tenures of former governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Rauf Aregbesola, Gboyega Oyetola, and the current governor, Ademola Adeleke.

He urges all governor in the federation to follow the examples of Lagos state and Osun in continuity in governance.
