LAUTECH Final Year Students Die In Road Accident While Returning From Excursion
Some 500-level Accounting students of Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Oyo State lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening around Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo in Osun State while they were returning from their visit to the waterfall.
One of the deceased, Adedoyin Faith is the first son of Majority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly.

The bus which conveyed the student caught fire while the cause of the accident is unknown as of the time of filing this report.
The school Public Relations Officer, Mr Lekan Fadeyin who confirmed the accident to Nigerian Tribune said life was lost in the accident but could not confirm the numbers as he is yet to receive more information on the incident.
Speaking with the school authority, the school authority confirmed the incident and the passing on of some students whose identities are not yet confirmed.
Also, the Students’ Union President of the institution, Anuoluwa Adeboye while speaking on the phone with this medium said the students organised an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall after their first semester exam as part of their activities as final year students.
