Missing Ex-NIS Comptroller General, Parradang Found Dead In Abuja Hotel After Female Visitor – Police

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed that former Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, David Shikfu Parradang, was found dead in a hotel in Abuja.

According to a statement by the Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, Parradang passed away after receiving a female visitor in his hotel room. She also dismissed reports suggesting that he was kidnapped and killed.

Providing details of the incident, Adeh stated:

“On March 3, 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, Mr Parradang checked into Joy House Hotel, Area 3 Junction, driving a black Mercedes Benz. He paid ₦22,000 for a one-night stay and later instructed a hotel room attendant to escort a female guest to his room.

“The woman left the hotel premises at around 4:00 PM. However, Mr. Parradang did not exit his room after she departed.

“At about 4:00 AM on March 4, 2025, a concerned friend, who is a military officer, traced him to the hotel after being unable to reach him. Upon arrival, the officer, along with the hotel receptionist, went to his room, where they found him dead, seated in a chair.

“The Durumi Police Station was immediately notified, and officers arrived at the scene to secure the area, take photographs, and collect relevant evidence to preserve the integrity of the investigation.

“His body has been transferred to the National Hospital for further procedures, while hotel staff are cooperating with the ongoing police investigation.”
