Motorist Stranded as OSTMS Disrupts Commercial Transport Activities In Osogbo
Motorist, residence and salary workers in Osogbo the state capital of Osun State were this morning held hostage at different bus stops and bus stations as OSUN Transport Management System (OSTMS) disrupted commercial transport activities in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to report gathered, the action is in solidarity with the arrest and shooting of its state chairman on Monday.
Earlier this morning, Aregbe Park, along Ogo-Oluwa on Wednesday morning, members of the OSTMS stopped many bikes and seized their keys. The park was empty, without a single bus, leaving travelers stranded.
Recall, Daily Impact reported that following the shooting of its Chairman, the Osun State Transport Management System(OSTMS) announced the suspension of commercial transport activities for Wednesday, 20th November, 2024 across the State.
Meanwhile, all efforts to speak with the OSTMS member enforcing the directive of suspension of activities proved abortive, as he declined to speak with press men.
