The National Assembly moves Bill To Grant INEC Authority To Conduct LG Election and rather than state electoral bodies at the plenary.
This move follows a recent Supreme Court ruling granting autonomy to local government areas, prompted by a federal government lawsuit.
According to the bill, INEC will be the one to conduct the upcoming LGA elections.
