Next Naija Couple: Obi Cubana, partner invest N100m in cash, gifts for winner
Obi Iyiegbu aka Obi Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana’s Cubana group has partnered with Quadrangle Media to reward the winner of the new reality TV show, Next Naija Couple.
The producers of the reality TV show recently revealed plans for the debut at a premiere that was held on June 29, 2024, at EbonyLife Place.
The premiere, hosted by Denrele Edun, had several celebrity guests including Obi Cubana, Osita Iheme, Desmond Elliot, Ayo Makun, and Gideon Okeke in attendance.
The Next Naija Couple is slated to debut on October 6, 2024, with its first season tagged ‘Afrique Connect.’ The show is poised to be an engaging reality TV series that gathers 24 aspiring singles – 12 women and 12 men – in a lavish villa located in Lagos, Africa. For 60 days, these 24 participants embark on a journey of romance, connection, and personal growth, all observed closely by viewers.
According to the producers, the reality TV show goes beyond typical reality TV as it is poised to celebrate African culture, explore self-discovery, and seek authentic connections. After 8 weeks, the winner walks away with N100 million in cash and gifts.
“On this show, we are bringing 24 remarkable Africans, precisely Nigerian 12 males and 12 females who would all come together in a beautiful villa and they would all share a common goal, which is to find love. Through that journey, there would be soul connections, friendship, love and romance,” said Ike Obi, CEO of Quadrangle Media.
