NLC state chapters, orders state workers to join strike
NLC release of communique to undergo on a two-day warning strike has spur some state chapters of the organised labour union, of their readiness to join the industrial action.
The Chairman, NLC Lagos chapter, Mrs Agnes Sessi, disclosed this during and interview. She mentioned emphatically that Lagos NLC would join the nationwide strike.
Similarly, chairman Sokoto State NLC, Abdullahi Jungle, also affirms that the union in the state would mobilise members of the union in the state to join the two-day warning strike.
In the same vein NLC Kano State chapter has said it will join the planned warning strike and protest called by the national body of the union.
Also, Ekiti State chapter of the NLC, the chairman Kolapo Olatunde said its members would join the two-day warning strike declared by the national leadership of the union.
The General Secretary of the NLC in Gombe State, Ibrahim Fika, also gave concent to receiving notice of the strike, adding that they would join.
Meanwhile, via a telephone interview, Niger State Secretary of the NLC, Mohammed Salihu And the Bauchi State Chapter of the NLC has said that it has been informed of the strike by its National Secretariat and is prepared to join.
All state already gave alliance because it was a directive from the national secretariat, it has become imperative for them to carry it out.
