OAU confirms lecturer slumps, dies in office

Authority of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, has confirmed the death of a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Dr Ayo Ojediran, in his office.

The Public Relations Officer of the university, Abiodun Olarewaju, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, said it happened on Tuesday.

The deceased was said to have slumped and died in his office.

Olarewaju said the incident was disheartening hence the university could not issue a statement to announce the death.
