Olowookere Sentenced To Death For Stealing Fowl Released From Prison, Courtesy Gov Adeleke (Video)
Following the clemency granted by Governor Ademola Adeleke to 53 convict, including Segun Olowookere sentenced to death for conspiracy and stealing of chicken, has been released from Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
According to vanguard report, Olowookere was released after the document granting him clemency was perfected at the prison.
Recall that Olowookere, along with Morakinyo Sunday, were sentenced to death 14 years ago (2010) by an Osun State High Court over conspiracy and stealing of chicken.
However, they, along with 51 others, were granted clemency by the governor on December 24.
