OSHA debated on the 2024 appropriation bill

The Plenary was presided over by the speaker Honourable Adewale Egbedun, and the debate on the 2024 appropriation bill was the highlight of the plenary.

The members of the state parliament including the chairman house committee on finance and appropriation Hons Fatunmise Olumide, Adeyemi Adewumi, Abiola Awoyeye, Abiodun Ibrahim, and Kanmi Ajibola commend Governor Ademola Adeleke for presenting a bogus budget estimate.

Earlier, the chair House Committee on Finance and Appropriation Hon Olumide Fatunmise had told his colleagues that due to the economic essential of the 2024 budget, there is a need to ensure the timely passage of the state appropriation.

Having done with the policy Trust, the lawmakers including Honourable Adeyemi Adewumi, Abiola Awoyeye, Abiodun Ibrahim, Kanmi Ajibola and Laide Ajibola supported the need to work on the speedy passage of the state estimate for the next fiscal year.

In his remarks, the speaker, HonourableAdewale Egbedun took time to consider and look at the veracity of the submissions of his colleagues who had spoken earlier on state appropriation bill law.

The speaker appreciated Gov Ademola Adeleke for bringing a sizeable budget for the next fiscal year.

He thereafter announced that the budget defence for ministries, departments and agencies would commence.
