Osun APC, PDP measures Adelekes performance
Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has rated the State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, performance since resumption in office low.
This accusation was disclosed in a statement issued by APC chairman, Osun chapter, quoting that governor Adeleke highlights past administration achievement during his appearance as a guest at the 16th Harvest Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service held at Love of Christ Generation Church, C & S, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Sunday,
Responding to the APC chairman’s claim, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Sunday Bisi, berated APC for attempting to downplay Adeleke’s performance, noting that the opposition party position would not alter the reality of many achievements of the current administration.
He added that it is illogical, for Sooko Lawal and the APC to deny Governor Adeleke the credit for the completion of the 10km Osogbo-Ikirun dual carriage road.
According to the statement, he sympathize with the APC for lacking the character and capacity to adequately carryout its opposition role, we must however warn that it would be making a grievous mistake to think it can hoodwink the people with lies and irresponsible posture that seems to define its strategy.
