Osun Assembly Continues Appropriation Bill Exercise 2024

As today marks day 5 of the exercise in the Osun State House of Assembly as the house committee on Finance and Appropriation Chaired by lawmaker representing Ede North, Hon. Kofoworola Babajide Adewumi, He admonishes that the Ministry of Energy tap into generating energy via solar and Hydro.
Recall, Daily Impact reported that the 8th Assembly under the leadership of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun declared the MADs for 2025 open during the opening ceremony on Monday 2nd December, 2024.
Hon. Kofoworola Babajide Adewumi disclosed this while replying the Commissioner, Hon. Adeyemo Festus after he delivered his budget presentation.
However, the Commissioner, Hon. Adeyemo Festus reiterated that the Ministry is set to make available solar and Hydro energy to public offices such as schools, health centres, offices and government agencies.
Moreover, the 5th day of the Appropriation Bill Exercise received the following MDAs, Ministry of water resource, ministry of energy, Osun State water corporation, rural water and environmental sanitation agency (RUWESA), Osun small towns water supply and sanitation agency, Osun State water regulatory commission, ministry of rural development and community affairs, ministry of works and infrastructure and Osun road maintenance agency.
