Osun Govt Orders Schools to Close on July 31, 2024, Ahead of August 1 Protest

Prior to the upcoming protest for August 1st, the Osun State Government has ordered that all schools vacate on Wednesday 31st July, 2024.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry of education.

According to the statement, the state government is directing that all school close all activities for the third term by 31st of July, as the hunger planned protest for August 1. 

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to inform the general public, particularly parents, guardians and heads of both public and private schools in the state that due to the planned nationwide protests, all schools are directed to proceed on the third term vacation From Wednesday 31st July, 2023.

Parents and Guardians are advised to ensure the safety of their wards during the vacation.
