Oyo State Schedule Oro Festival On July 31st, Shift School Exam
Oyo State Government has shifted the exams for SSS1 & 2 Joint Promotion Examination and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) slated for Wednesday 31st July, 2024 which coincide with Oro Cultural Festival in Oyo Town.
Oyo government gave the directive in a statement released. According to the statement, this is because the Oro restricts females from going out on the day and this affects all female students who are to participate in the said examinations.
In the statement ; it is written that in view of this observation, all the affected examinations slated for Wednesday 31st July, 2024 had been rescheduled to other days. Please find herewith attached copy of the rescheduled examinations timetable for strict compliance.
