PHOTOS: Godly Youth in Politics is Possible – Honourable Adewumi Adeyemi Irekandu
Honourable representing Obokun local government, Adewumi Adeyemi has urged Christian youth to take their place in politics.
Honourable Adewumi disclosed this at Living Faith Chapel aka Winners Chapel, Oke onitea, headquarters, Osogbo, while delivering a lecture titled; “The Role of Godly Youth in Politics”.
Speaking during his lecture, He listed qualities a Godly youth needs to possess and put into practice before entering politics and in politics.
Honourable Adewumi, mentioned that a Godly Christian in politics must be Born Again, Baptised in the Holy Spirit and must manifest the fruit of the Spirit.
He added that a Godly youth in politics must also identify the specific area of witnessing, know the problem that needs to be addressed in the area of witnessing and be determined to follow God’s laws and principles in addressing the problem in the area of witnessing.
Honourable Adewumi added that Godly youth should be ready to build capacity in the area of witnessing and also be ready to read.
The event which is for Youth in Business and Leadership Summit geared for youth in Living Faith Church, Oke-onitea, Osogbo was attended by the wife of the Deputy Governor, Deaconess Olusola Adewusi, Lawmaker representing Obokun local government, Honourable Adewumi Adeyemi, Chairman Aaraj Group, Engr Kehinde Raji, S.A to the Governor on market matters, Mrs Grace Eniola Omotosho, and Proprietress Phobestars Academy, Deaconess Toyin Fannu.
