A retired police inspector identified as Linus Monday has allegedly been caught embarking on a stop and search-operation.

A viral photo shows the former officer in a police uniform with ID card number 6257.

The suspect was paraded in one of the police divisions in the country.

As the photo of the police officer went viral, it sparked an online conversation about the retirement benefits for police officers and others who served Nigeria in their prime.
