The Senate chamber of the Federal Republic, head by senate president Godswill Akpabio has replaced senator Abdul Ningi.
This action is coming just few days after the suspension of Senator Abdul Ningi, Senator representing Yobe East, Mustapha Musa has been named as the new chairman of the committee on National Identity and Population Commission.
President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio made the announcement at the commencement of plenary on Thursday.
Senator Musa was sworn as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in February 2024 after his victory at the by-election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission on February 3.
Senator Musa replaced Ibrahim Geidam the current minister of Police Affairs who resigned from the upper chamber.
