Stop flying fake news around – Supreme court, Gives Reasons

The Public Relations Officer, of the supreme high court Abuja, Mr Festus Akande, has asked the public not to panic and listen to fake news that the files for the petition tribunal has burnt during the fire incident that occurred this morning.

According to him only a wing of the Supreme Court complex situated at the Three-Arm-Zone, Abuja, was engulfed by fire.

Arise news had a Live video call interview with Mr Festus, He mentioned that a section of the building was on fire and was put out in no time before the fire service came.

He added that only books in the library got burnt and it had no effect on the effectiveness of the supreme court.

He said there is no single connection, and it will not affect anything in the court.
