Time for new challenge, Ronaldo says of Man U exit

Portugal striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said that his exit from Manchester United was the best time for him to seek a new challenge.

Ronaldo and the club ended their contract by mutual agreement on Tuesday.

In a statement shared by sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the striker expressed his love for the fans and club but said it was time to move on.

He said, “I love Manchester Utd and I love the fans, that will never ever change. It feels like the
right time to seek a new challenge. I wish Manchester Utd all the best.”
