Tribute match for Pele holds in Kaduna Stadium

A football match in honour of late legendary player, Pelé, was on Monday played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna State.

Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, who was present for the tribute match revealed that the late Brazilian footballer, played in the same stadium in the 70s.

He made this known via his Twitter handle on Monday.

Sharing a picture from the match, Shehu said, “Pelé was in Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna in 1972. Two Kaduna Football Clubs played a match at the same venue today, as a tribute to the original greatest of all times.”
