A yet-to-be-identified group of hoodlums has reportedly set the Olowu of Araromi Owu’s palace in Ayedade Local Government Area of Osun State on fire in a bloody clash.
In an update posted on social media by popular Osun journalist Alhaji Lateef Agboola, on Tuesday, affirmed that an NSCDC officer was hit by a bullet during the ongoing clash.
He called on security agencies for intervention, “Araromi Owu, Ayedade Local Government Area of Osun State, is boiling! Security intervention is urgently needed here.”
The cause of the ongoing clash could not be immediately ascertained at the time of filing this report.
Alhaji Lateef added that the hoodlums had taken over the streets, destroying property, while residents scrambled for safety.
