UPDATE: Body of the DSS agent who jumped into Lagos lagoon not found yet, says LASEMA
Adetutu Adedokun, a Department of State Services (DSS) unarmed teacher, is suspected of having jumped into the lagoon in the Third Mainland Bridge corridor, although his body has not yet been found.
Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), added that after extensive searches, no one has been able to identify the driver of the car that the terrible incident’s victim boarded.
The reaction team, he continued, has switched from rescue to recovery and is currently keeping an eye on the tide and asking the villagers if they have any valuable information.
Adedokun, who was in her late 30s, was recognized as the greatest unarmed combat operative in her set in a letter from the Director General of DSS, Yusuf Bichi, a few months ago. It was also said that the victim’s fiance had just just gotten engaged to her.
